For Pictionnary fanatics

Hello everyone!

Today i’m going to show you a beautiful website. Maybe it will even be useful for the english course (for new vocabulary and good atmosphere in the class)! So, like the title tells us, this post will be about a website where you can play the very famous game called Pictionnary!

For those who don’t know how it works, here are the rules: somebody is chosen, turn by turn, to make the others guess a word. And the only way to do that is drawing something (it’s forbidden to write anything). Other people have to find the word, writing on a little chat window next to the drawing window. Faster you guess it, more points you’ll get. And the person who draws wins points the more people guess the word. Simple rules no?

Here is the link: http://www.isketch.net/isketch.shtml

First of all, you have to chose a nickname, and you don’t need to subscribe (no password is needed, just the username). After this step, you just have to choose a server in the language you want to play, click on it, and you’re in! The last thing you have to do is to enjoy the game!

My first post ever

Hello everyone!

I’m happy to say i’m in! Here is my first blog (i know this is a bit late for my age… my little sister have one since 2 years), and i’m going to tell you what i’ve done during the last english course: we saw last week a movie about the RSS utility and a bit of vocabulary about it. The movie showed us that the RSS technology has many advantages, like the fact you can control every information you want (better than email because there’s no possible spam), and you don’t have to wait for news publication on magazines, you can get the information directly and automatically. About vocabulary, we learned two interesting expressions: “cutting-edge” and “bear with me”. The first one means what you’re talking about is up-to-date. The second expression means you have to be patient and wait for something.

Hope you liked my first post!

Thanks
